DSNL offers a range of business collaboration solutions (collectively called Services in this document), which may be accessed through interfaces such as phone calls, websites, and smartphone apps (collectively called Applications in this document). This Privacy Policy is an electronic record in the form of an electronic contract formed under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder. This Privacy Policy does not require any physical, electronic, or digital signature. This Privacy Policy shall be deemed to be incorporated into the terms and conditions of Contract of Application and shall be read in addition to the said Form.

A. Business contact information
In many instances, the information we collect may be “business contact information” (i.e. your name, position name or title, business telephone number, business address, business email address, or similar information, not provided solely for personal purposes). 1. Service-related, diagnostic, and performance information including information about your activity (such as how you use our Services/Applications, how you interact with others using our Services/Applications, etc.), log files, and diagnostic, crash, website, and performance logs, and reports
2. Call history and logs, details of calls scheduled by you or to which you have been invited, and associated details like date, time, contact details of invitees, etc.
3. DSNL may record communications and calls made via the Services for the purposes of providing a value-added service to our customers and for enhancing the customer experience of the Services/Applications.
4. However, DSNL will not access the content of any recordings, except:
1. To appropriately support the Services; for the purpose of anticipating, diagnosing, supporting or resolving any problems that might limit or disrupt the quality of our customers’ service experience
2. Or as required by law.
3. DSNL is not responsible for how you use your recordings or the recording features.

Any information you share with us including, but not limited to the contact information of conference invitees, your profile and/or posts, or the feedback you provide through email, phone calls, or on our website may be visible to our personnel. We may disclose your information to third-parties under the following circumstances:
1. Where partners help us in the administration or operation of our organisation (e.g. our hosting/back-up service providers, telephony providers and our IT service providers)
2. Where we use third-party providers in the provision of the Services to you
3. To related companies of DSNL for the purposes of providing the Services to you
4. In order to enforce or comply with our obligations under the applicable terms and conditions, license terms, or other agreements we have with such third-parties
5. Or to protect our rights, property, or safety or those of other users or third-parties
6. If we are required to disclose or share your personal information in order to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation, such as telecommunications licensing terms and regulations.
7. How Do We Protect Your Information?
The security of your information is important to us. We maintain appropriate and reasonable security arrangements to prevent unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. However, the transmission of information via the public telecom networks (PSTN/PLMN), the internet, and global telecommunications networks is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information provided to us via the internet or other telecommunications networks, and any transmission is at your own risk.
8. Retention of Your Information
We will only hold your information for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or in our terms and conditions as specified in the Customer Application Form, or as mandated by legal or regulatory conditions, or for business purposes.
9. Access to Your Information and Ensuring it is Up-to-date
We want to make sure that your information is accurate and up-to-date. If you would like a copy of some or all of the information we hold about you, please contact us at customercare@dsnl.in. You can update or correct your account details at any time by contacting our support team at the above email address.
10. Security
We value your trust in providing us your information. We shall strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, it may be noted that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and thus we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
11. Deletion of Data
You may request us to (a) delete the data (the scope of which is specified in Clause 4) pertaining to your account and/or (b) close your account. We shall accept such requests by email, addressed to customercare@dsnl.in, or by snail mail, sent to our corporate office at DSNL, Tidel Park, 1106-D, South Block, 4 Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Taramani, Chennai 600 113.
When a request for closure of the account is received, we shall deactivate the account and permanently delete the data pertaining to your usage of the services, except for the data we are mandated to retain as per legal, regulatory, or as per the terms of our telecom licence, provided all monies payable, if any, to us are paid by you in full. In addition, all data pertaining to the deactivated account (usage data and non-usage-related data) shall be permanently deleted after the lapse of the period for which we are mandated for retain the data.
Once your account is deactivated or deleted, your right to use our Services is automatically revoked.

13. Updates to this policy
This Privacy Policy was last updated on the 1st of March, 2024. We may change our privacy practices from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes to this policy as required by law. We will also post an updated copy on our website. Please check our site periodically for the latest information.
14. Jurisdiction
If you choose to use our Services, any dispute over privacy is subject to this policy and the terms of use of this policy. In the event of any dispute arising under or by virtue of this Privacy Policy or any difference of opinion between the parties concerning their rights and obligations under this private policy, the parties shall use their best efforts to resolve such dispute or difference amicably by discussion and mutual accord.
If the dispute cannot be resolved in this manner within fifteen (15) days, the parties shall arrange a meeting between appropriate representatives designated by each party, who shall have an additional fifteen (15) days to resolve the dispute or difference. If the dispute or difference is not settled within the thirty (30) days period, then, unless the parties otherwise agree in writing, either party may serve written notice on the other party stating its intention to proceed to arbitration.
The unresolved claim, dispute or difference shall be finally settled by arbitration under the Arbitration Act, 1996 by the Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre currently functioning at No.22, Karpagambal Nagar, Mylapore, Chennai 600 004, India, who will appoint the sole arbitrator and will conduct the arbitration in accordance with its rules for conduct of arbitration proceedings then in force. Such arbitration shall be the sole and exclusive remedy between the parties with respect to such dispute. In the event of any claim, dispute or difference being referred to arbitration, this policy and the terms or conditions of the Customer Application Form shall continue to be enforced. The arbitration shall take place in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The arbitration award shall be final and binding on each party.
